Meet the Founder: Gabe Roy

Gabe Roy is the founder and creative director at Zest Media Productions Inc. Establishing the video production company in 2019, he’s successfully grown the business on the basis that video is the ultimate medium for brands to reach and connect with their audiences. Whether it be for the purpose of marketing a product/service, enhancing brand awareness, or rallying public support around a cause - strategically developed and distributed video content is the most powerful way to capture the essence of a message, purpose, or brand.

Gabe is an experienced director, producer, cinematographer, camera operator, and editor. He’s worked on a diverse range of video projects - including commercials, branded content, live music, music videos, corporate profiles, documentaries, and many more! He's often recognized for his attention to detail, eye for cinematography, and ability to establish a comfortable tone on set for all involved. Gabe excels at bringing together the right talent for the right job and keeping the project enjoyable and on track.

He is most inspired by raw, story-driven projects that incorporate elements of artistic experimentation. Gabe works in collaboration with creative crew members from the Vancouver area to assist in bringing his client’s projects to life.
