Live Performance and Event Videos
For the second year in a row, we produced the TV stand-up comedy special for the Snowed in Comedy Tour. This year, we were at the famous Vogue Theatre in downtown Vancouver to capture the hilarious Canadian quartet of comedians’ best 20-minute stand-up sets. The show featured seasoned comedy veteran - and Tour founder - Dan Quinn, along with his peers, Pete Zedlacher, Erica Sigurdson, Paul Myrehaug, and Damonde Tschritter to perform to an audience of over 1000 fans.
Since the Tour’s inception in 2008, the Snowed In Comedy Tour has grown to a level where they are now touring across the entire country each year - playing in venues from British Columbia to Nova Scotia. Last year alone, the Tour performed at over 70 different theatres across the great white north.
With their regular fanbase well-established, the comedy troop has recently been making strides to reach new fans by leveraging social media - sharing clips and full specials through platforms like TikTok and YouTube. As experts in live concert and event filming, we’ve helped them improve upon their production value with high-quality video production, stage design and promotional video material.
Subscribe to their YouTube channel to get notified on the latest installment of stand-up comedy specials we’ve produced for them. The videos will be available in fall of 2024.
Branded Documentaries
In collaboration with Elevated Pictures, we helped film a branded documentary episode for Torchlight Bioresources. The company’s founder, Jamie Stephen, visited several locations across BC’s Lower Mainland to learn more about the process of leveraging timber byproducts as an environmentally-conscious alternative to heating and energy.
In this episode, the case study focused on Simon Fraser University and their recent transition to the use of biomass to heat several buildings on the university’s campus. This series is a perfect example of how businesses can use sponsored content (like a branded documentary) to gain audience attention without being unapproachably salesy - focusing on entertaining and educating first.
